White UPVC turns grey with a mixture of traffic film, algae and, on the coast, salt. A pressure washer is the wrong tool for it - too much force drives water behind the boards and can dull the finish permanently.
We soft wash instead, using a brush, a cleaning solution suited to plastic and a thorough rinse. The difference on a run of fascias and soffits is usually dramatic, and because we work from the ground there is no ladder damage to the boards themselves.
Most people have this done at the same time as a gutter clear, which saves a separate visit and usually a little money too.
